Keiga Foundation was a proud partner of the 28th Annual Concert of Colors, which ran from October 6 to October 11, 2020. The Concert of Colors, founded by Ismael Ahmed, is a dynamic gathering of artists, activists, and advocates who use performance and dialogue as a tool for advocacy and community building. Due to COVID-19, it was broadcasted live by Detroit Public Television and reached over two million people in the US and Canada.

Keiga Foundation’s president and CEO, Dr. Christof Traidl, stated, “We are very proud to have joined the Concert of Colors as a partner for the first time and we are especially thankful to Ismael Ahmed who I had the opportunity to meet in person a few months ago. We had a great conversation and talked about our global nonprofit initiatives. I feel very honored that Ismael Ahmed has committed to be an advisor to our Foundation and we look forward to future partnering opportunities with him and the amazing Concert of Colors.”
